A tristeza,
Vai e vem,
Não se mostra.
Encurrala-se ao abrigo,
De um semblante vazio...

Carrega pedaços da alma,
E a alma carrega-se
De pedaços tristes.

Parte-se ao bocados,
Solta-se entre o furor,
Interior de uma tez inexpressiva...

La tristesse,
Qui va et qui vienne,
Tout seul,
Dans la rue perdue...

Sans couer,
Ni amour...
Elle s'en va...
Toujours triste.
