Deixem-me o sono ! Sei que é já manhã
Deixem-me o sono ! Sei que é já manhã.
Mas se tão tarde o sono veio,
Quero, desperto, inda sentir a vã
Sensação do seu vago enleio.
Quero, desperto, não me recusar
A estar dormindo ainda,
E, entre a noção irreal de aqui estar,
Ver essa noção finda.
Quero que me não neguem quem não sou
Nem que, debruçado eu
Da varanda por sobre onde não estou,
Nem sequer veja o céu.
