Sentence of a Grape.

My humble grape bowl

Seeping eye's

Watching like planets

Stealing Dorian Gray

In factory explosion

Making way to be eaten

Like gentle gooseberry

Marsh mallow flesh.

Not a bowl

But courtroom

Hanging about to begin

Each grape a juror

Out to sentence me for my sin.

.

Stupefied scapegoats

Uncontrollable

Laughing iconographic icon

mental straight jacket

Tightens

Cryogenic scientific spoils of history

Until thawed for appeasement.

I gently reach out for one

And taste it's cool flesh

Womb warmed 

Chew

Then reluctantly swallow.
