Three Calendar Days

The sun was dying and from one end to the other
dark ink blots in forms of clouds appeared.
Lightening came in clamorous sound waves

On earth there was a reaction like none other
recorded in the planet. Victory was seen on the
faces of mankind but within a caution to fear.

Others lamented over the loss in the sun's
brightness; the shinening of light on their path.

My days on earth were not yet appointed, so I can
only imagine as if present then. The opportunity
to begin with a clean slate and many rejected and
still reject the offer.

Hope resurrected on the third day when the sun
illuminated the sky in two halves, one side a
strawberry marmalade moving over the plum purple
to cover the infractions of the world.

Today, when you chance to look up into the sun's
bright eyes, see for yourself that the shinning
is still there to light your path.

None other in the whole universe can brighten
your life like the Son can if you allow the
light to shine your dark path.
