Beckoning Silence

I woke up from a dream
Nothing makes sense, all seems the same
My footsteps lead me towards oblivion
But I’m lost, I still stand but I will fall

I walk a narrow path
Odd faces, mesmerized desires
The mirror brings back the truth
I hear crumbling leaves shattering the ground

And so I bear your wish to be free
And so I face death once more
Will you come?
Would you care this time?

A mournful silence embraces me
When I’m slowly torn apart
A dreamless frustration surrounds me
A mere significance for a senseless existence
