Glimpse of Heaven and a Grain of Hell

Near deaths door,
I layed in bed

in rigorous pain,
my life in vain

with febrile flesh,
veins medicated

days of incoherence,
outnumbered lethargy

I appeared standing
on a long line,
with those I knew
When once a lass,
wearing a divine robe

to my right a figure,
had feet of brass

around the waist,
wore a golden band

an unknown Splendor,
extending a hand

weeping, I'm facing judges,
of Old Testament times

accusing nothings,
in angry frowns
they sat across
a meeting table

the Magnificent voice,
gently spoke "she's good"
the old men, sporting beards,
silently stood

looking towards my left,
a dark endless path
awakens me at the core

I open my eyes
still weeping.
