End Of Down Pour

 

 

As I walk thru a winding road;

dry like a well can be seen

in a mirage, restless heart,

sluggish in pace.

Shoulders droop as do tulips

during a down pour outside

my window.

Feeble minded and legs drag,

I feel all this ebbing off.

As the storm passes,

tulips on the lawn erect

with the sun's majestic visibility.
