Villain Lady-A new chapter in her life

Villain Lady approached 21 Sunbelt Lane
All the yesterdays were clear on her mind
The name of the man she left behind
remained on her memory like her name

She wondered if her image was still with him
If she had only told him the worth of her devotion
and how much she loved and hated him at the same time
She parked her shiny new bike away from the streetlight

The curtains were drawn with a dim light on
A shadow could be seen in the upstairs room
Villain Lady new that room well
She began to pace back and forth undecided

Her dreams of him never ended
The nightmares continued to haunt her
On her mind she wanted to relive the adventure
One thing she couldn't forget was her promise

Dying in Detectives arms was the ultimate challenge
A plan she yearned for and had to complete
The Lady could feel his lips on hers
while she looked into his dark eyes

She was ready to tell him everything
before she died in his arms
She practiced the words in her head
as if they had been a song
she loved to sing

Being half human and half animal
she could smell his presence
also hear the sounds of his footsteps
coming down the stairs

She held the handkerchief tight
and rang the doorbell
One ring no answer
two rings no answer
three rings no answer

She was getting edgy
Why was he not opening the door
He did live there
She kept up with the newspapers
articles about the crimes he had solved

Giggling to herself quietly
she said " Yeah, not this one"
and rang the doorbell again.
Villain Lady amused herself
by seeing her past and future a crime
