Desfazeres-te em lágrimas,
E pensares que continuas a ser linda de morrer!
Suspiram de amor mal correspondido,
Palermas de paixões assolapadas
Desvairadas em suplícios de suicídio,
Suplícios de desgraçadas que rebolam no chão.
Ó Providência!
Irra! Que pândegas! Que miseráveis!
A todos divertem as fingidas,
Mas são coices de mula, de fugir!
Matem-se! Enterrem-se!
Mas deixem-me em paz!
Vão para o Diabo, que as carregue!
