Rendição Incondicional

Luzes brilham, de um brilho infernal,
Angústia de um infinito desamparo
Que põe a nu a frivolidade
E a inconsciência da vida.

Homem que violas e profanas
O suporte da própria subsistência,
Homem de fraqueza bem desenvolvida
Que deixas a bandeira morrer!

Vives apático e passivo na miséria,
Submisso entre cacos e trapos,
Vives deleitado no negrume da ignorância
Agarrado ao prazer da ilusão.

Aterrorizado pelo espectro da vida,
Desesperado e prostrado em lágrimas,
Esforças-te por sentires a última esperança,
Como se ainda estivesses vivo!
