Carácter Mesquinho

Criaturas que se arreganham para nós
E porque visceralmente não gostam de nós
Por inveja, ou sentimento de inferioridade,
Nos tiram o chão que pisamos,
É imperativo tê-las como inimigas.

Gente mesquinha é tosse
Que parece que as tripas vão sair,
Rajadas ferozes que fustigam o espírito
E nos sacodem a clareza
Com o desagradável perigo
Do determinado inimigo tão amargo.

É ruim, mas não tão ruim!
Não importa perder um dedo por hipotermia,
Mas alcançar o cume.
