Impressões gravadas na memória!...
Com o passar do tempo da existência,
A vida faz-nos desejar mais
O primeiro minuto do que o último,
Faz-nos lutar por ele,
Proferir um solene juramento:
Não tenhamos medo!
Vejo fraquezas por todo o lado,
Ideal e esperança paralisados!
Acaso o fogo se extinguir de todo,
Receio que enregelemos todos.
Assistir é nada.
É um mero fluir animal inconsciente,
É a consciência da inutilidade,
É a vida sem mais nada.
Não te entregues ao sono em pé,
Ao pensamento adormecido!
Acorda, meu grande sacana,
Não durmas, vê claramente,
Corre até teres um balanço!
À tua espera está o prazer de viver,
De aproveitar a vida atravessando séculos…
Não tenhamos medo!...
