Cuando el agua bebe la sed del sol
El fuego incendiado apaga la ceniza
Parada en las alas rojas del aire
La lluvia toma una siesta
En una gota un día una hoja
Del libro inseparable de la vida
Con el paisaje desprendido de la noche
En las tumbas salvajes de la piel
De la blanda desnudez de la calle
De la puerta vacía de la luna
De la casa llena de la muerte
¡ Ganas... Si perdiéndola aprendes !
¡ Ganas... Si olvidándola recuerdas !
¡ Ganas... Si meciéndola enterneces !
Por el campo que sangra en la tarde
¡ Dad !... Alimento a las nubes
Dad, dad sustento a los granos
Dad, dad fuerza a las almas
Dad, dad impulso a los sueños
Con los días los meses los años
¡ Ingenioso inmenso inolvidable !
Un espejo se refleja en otro
Un año se abona en otro
Una vez se cultiva con tino
Una vez de muchas muchas... ¡ Ganas !.
