SONETO AL LAUREL
Tengo un laurel de flores que nevadas
dan sombra a mi rincón siempre querido
al que recurro sin estar herido
sólo a sentir lejanas campanadas.
Reposo en él mis tiempos preferidos,
leo despacio letras que rimadas
dejan mis penas quietas y apagadas
y siembran dichas sobre lo dolido.
¡Oh, mi laurel de flores blancas lleno!
Responsable señero de lo pleno
y guardián generoso de mi espacio.
Te canto sin llegar a merecerlo
en la locura de querer hacerlo
sintiendo que contigo me congracio.
