¿De qué nos sirve el bronce de campanas
campanas de bellezas seculares
en sus tañidos alabando cielos,
sin ser oídas?
¿De qué nos sirve el vuelo de palomas
palomas que abren alas con soltura
para llegar en vuelo al mismo cielo,
sin ser mirado?
¿De qué nos sirve ser poetas puros
sin el puro loar de otros poetas,
salvo por el cantar en los oídos
del mismo canto?
