¿Y de temer del deber?.
¿He de ver el brete ése?.
Y del detenerte breve.
Y del decrecer y descreer.
Y del detenerte te eleves.
¿Es del deber ese temer?.
Ves el pez y reprendes,
y emprendes ver decrecer,
el césped, y detenerte .
¿Es el embeberse el enerve?.
¿Es del deber ser endeble?.
¿He de entretejerme y envejecer?.
¡El enverdecer bebe el envés!.
Y desde ése revés se envejece.
¿He de ceder clemente?.
¿He de creerme decente?.
¡El demente descree del deber!.
¡He de encenderme y defenderme!.
Detened el deber de temer y vé…
¡El deber emerge celeste!.
Desde ese despeje esplendente.
Desde ese destejer emergente.
¿He de verte, gente, en ese temer?.
¡He de verte envejecer y entenebrecerme!.
