enquanto subo o coqueiro
que altivo espreita o céu
e se ofusca com o sol.
Diz-me… minha amiga
- Porque sondo as fontes
no deserto das palavras?
Como se matasse a sede
e desafiasse as escarpas?
Agora que o sol se esconde
atrás de um mar invencível
e os rios correm sem pressa
de seduzir um mar distante.
Ah... eu vejo a luz do dia
À procura do horizonte!
Diz-me, minha amiga...
Porque chora a mangueira
prenha de flores e de chuva
no infinito da memória
no calcário que há em mim…?
