D’entro , no terror da noite,
No raízedo d’meias coisas
Atrás do latejo das veias
Não em redor mas d’entro
Transfiguro-me, não d’gente ,
Entro no luar , a sombra
É ali , a minha alma alcatruzada
Secreta , eriçada e negra
Quando tocada nela

E as árvores me despiram
Os seus ramos me taparam
E da evitada floresta regresso

Dos sinais, quebrados em ecos
Que , dos silêncios todos , bebi.
