O Céu daqui e o Céu de lá

O céu daqui
Jamais será como lá
Aqui só se ver nuvens
Lá só se via estrelas
E nas noites de lua
As pessoas ficavam nas ruas
Apreciando a linda noite
E sua chuva de estrelas cadentes.

Aqui ficamos em nossas casas
Como se fosse em presídios
Cercado de grades
E o céu só pode ser visto
Entre as brechas das janelas.

Lá ou cá eu era prisioneira
Mas, lá, podia apreciar
A liberdade da natureza
Aqui, nem isso posso
Porque há pessoas que acham
Que podem ser melhores que Deus.
