PARA UN AMIGO

Cuando te sientas
solo y triste.
Cuando camines bajo la lluvia
sin saber a donde ir
y en esa ciudad
en la que vives
ya no tengas a nadie
con quien reir.

Huye de ella.
Busca un refugio
en la vegetación
henchida de amapolas

Cuando en la quietud
del silencio
llores quizás
por el amor que hoy no tienes

Cuando viejo un día
veas tu piel plegarse
como la frágil hoja
y tus cabellos tomar
el color de la casta nieve.

Entonces querido amigo..
acuérdate de mí.
Aunque la ausencia
sea más profunda con los años.
Aunque tu y yo
en cualquier lugar del mundo
nos miremos sin hablarnos.
