VOLCÁN DORMIDO
Estoy yendo hacia ti, volcán dormido,
que no le temo a despertar tu fuego,
ni a las causas que te han adormecido
por profundas y dolidas que éstas sean.
Más bien me produces estupor...
Me asombra que te asombre
la simple ternura que te enfrenta
con escudo de cristal, sin armadura
y que ha cambiado las armas aceradas
por un canto de amor y una verbena.
Quiero ver ese fuego que no quema,
quiero ver la lava que acaricia
y ver si eres capaz de echar al cielo
tu amor, en erupción perpetua.
