Pensei que iria morrer de saudade
Que havia perdido toda a felicidade
Que carecia parar de sorrir e sonhar
Que jamais voltaria a sentir ou amar

Pensei não saber mais fazer poemas
Nem sentiria aquela ternura no olhar
Que não conseguiria mais respirar...
Porém livrei-me de minhas algemas

Notei que estava em mim a felicidade
Vi que o Novo Ano começava a nascer
E que era bom demais sentir saudade

Eu ainda guardo toda a minha alegria
Aquilo foi só um amor de fim de festa
E mais do que nunca eu sou a poesia
