#4 To Woodlawn

On the #4, across from me; sat a gentleman
Must have been a little over fifty
Dressed as a biker without his ride,
wearing a leather jacket; black to
match his riding boots

Concentrated on his journal; he wrote notes
He would look up, glance and I glanced back
I smiled an inward smile, perhaps he
did the same 

We may have been curious about one another
I, felt crazy over his flaming red hair,
 matching sexy scruff look

Reminded of someone I once knew,
intimate with at the time;
his company I enjoyed for a brief while

Attracted to to this stranger; although
 rugged in style & looks; turned me on,
 made my morning into potpourri

Got off on the same stop,
started to hum and sing an old Beatles song,
Him, close behind me, so I know he was listening
