Rejected by Mankind
The rejected man interacts
by hand feeding a landing
companion, others join
in as he breaks-throws-
breaks-throws his last
piece of bread to the
immigrant pests.
Ready to devour prey,
they flock like a pack
of wolves; anxious as
an expectant father
awaits a new babe.
Plume sheds
shield the sidewalk and
contaminants christen the
pavement with digested
dog excreta, incinerated
by burn rays it turns
into seer shreds.
Man and beast shape amity,
passerby's are not surprised
by the homeless mans charity.
"They both have something in
common, they are a nuisance
to mankind" or better said
"Rejects".
Some things never change
on New York City streets.
