From Beyond The Fall You Hear Me Speak

Come into the night when days are done
follow the stream that has vanished from your distorted path
every dream is now carried away
the sun beats the drops of tears
only fear is what's left of sunken dreams
when rain washes the sin from breath
you vanish into air, far to depths below
where souls are to be trapped and forced upon loneliness
torn from a past of love
when all is forgotten from memorable
tombstones remain a symbol for life
when sadness comes to eye, vision loses hope
fear of what is next falters ones thought
stepping past the stepping stone
this is where no one will wander
crazy in mind I release power to control
when all is forgotten and placed upon throne
only in fantasy shall I be washed away
the waves now crash to meet me beyond the fall
the days grow dark and I become consumed
control is misdirected and the promise lies broken, oh God give me strength
the tide now flows between the current of good and evil
yet I remain too weak to cast one last spell
the shadows haunt till the end of days
where no light is shown beyond the wall of misfortune
lies tell the belief that one is home
yet to truly understand one must teach their own
whispers cast through shadows and I lie under its embrace
now I whisper back my thoughts and scream through sadness
now I'm unable to face my own selfish acts
my journey now laid before
now I must confess and recognize my loneliness
to haunt this tale for I pray, may I see brighter days
for the end is here, and I have forgotten
