Metaphorical Phrases Run In Circled Paths
Whispers linger through a dark haze
trapped in the moment stricken through a false daze
taken what is given, throwing it all away
misled by the light, followed by ants to end a twenty-four hour day
contemplating guilt, from all that remains hidden
worshiping pride, as the midnight glistens
attempting to communicate, though the eyes prove a lie
falling from grace, as your halo drowns in blue
only the deep water can show the future that lies in truth
metaphorical phrases run in circled paths
like we do in our thoughts, as if it is yet another forbidden trap
