Quando a barca se faz ao mar
Leva a vida e a esperança
Na esperança der pescar
Aquilo que se pensa e alcança
A esperança é um amigo permanente
Que a barca leva consigo
Haja bonança ou tormenta
Temos nela um grande amigo
Quando ela não embarca
A barca não pode seguir
Ela não se faz ao mar
Não a conseguimos sentir
Ala, ala companheiros
A arte traz muito peixe
Nós somos bons marinheiros
Que a esperança não nos deixe
A vida é feita de esperança
È com ela que temos de viver
É com ela que a gente dança
Nunca a podemos perder
