AS COISAS EVOLUEM COM O TEMPO

Antigamente, não existia campo de futebol formalmente definido. As partidas eram iniciadas num amplo terreno, sem marcações de linhas de fundo, nem linhas de lateral. Existiam pessoas que, no decorrer das pelejas, iam levando duas varas, que substituíam traves, sem travessão, para lá e para cá, acompanhando a bola e, consequentemente, os jogadores. Certa vez, por exemplo, um jogo de futebol começou em Irajá e terminou em Madureira. Tempos depois é que inventaram as linhas que delimitam o campo.
