Na penumbra moras alma triste
Não vês a luz que esplende fora

É porque tua paz a chegar resiste

Nem a um raio de sol te abristes

Há tantas dores pelo mundo afora
E mesmo assim a alegria existe

Na tristeza é teu avesso que vive
Num pacto de fidelidade íntima
E a ofuscar-te, oh alma, tuas lágrimas
Não te deixa sentir o que te avive

Renasça no inverso das tuas mágoas,
Das tuas dores e das tuas fráguas
