OLHOS DO ASILO
Tenho a alma calejada de vivida
E os olhos acostumados à amplidão
Queimei bastante lenha nesta vida
E tive a sorte sempre na palma da mão
Minha estrada quase toda percorrida
Valeu a pena andar cada palmo de chão
A saudade que me vem das coisas idas
É o que alimenta agora o coração
Vivi a vida sem arma e sem escudo
Nunca foi preciso bater nem apanhar
Cultivei uma paixão que não se mede
Vida vaidosa que sempre me deu tudo
Tem agora caridosa para me dar
Uma janela pra olhar o que sucede
