CASTRO ALVES, O POETA INFANTE
Castro Alves mui loquaz e retumbante
desejou saber onde Deus se escondia.
Atropelou o mundo como poeta infante,
aguardando de Deus resposta à revelia.
Laçou no infinito os astros e as estrelas,
rabiscando versos nas vielas do espaço.
Aprisionou estrelas, e mesmo sem vê-las
trouxe toda poesia amarrada em seu laço.
