TERROR NOTURNO

Um grito ensandeceu a madrugada...
As luzes se apagaram. Vi o horror!
Vultos provocaram grande torpor
E meus olhos olhavam para o nada.

Gigantescas sombras sopravam medo
E nas cortinas havia muitos espectros,
Pois balançavam hediondos e eretos
As janelas que ruíam pavor e degredo.

Grande chuva invadiu o tempo denso,
As árvores mostravam a fúria do vento
E no céu havia relâmpagos e trovoadas.

Noite estranha que importou das trevas
E dos umbrais mefíticos as vis egrégoras
Das vicissitudes lúgubres das covas rasas.
