QUO VADIS?

CAIN  WHO KILLED HIS BROTHER ABEL

 

Havia um céu e uma terra em nossas mãos
e a escolha entre eles poderia, então, ser feita.
Deveríamos viver para sempre como irmãos
cuidando de rebanhos, semeando pra colheita.

Mas, a inveja ataca os mais puros corações
e o sangue do nosso sangue pode perder a calma,
e não sabendo controlar as próprias emoções
nos tira a única vida tentando ferir a alma.

Será que levaremos esta marca para sempre,
não importando o que fizermos de bom e de melhor?
Nascemos para seguir morrendo lentamente,
sem entendermos o caminho ou nosso alto valor?
