O cartão que tu me deste
De rosas paixão
Até hoje guardo junto ao coração
Cartão que veio com buquê
De rosas vermelhas paixão
Uma delas até guardo
Com muito cuidado
Dentro do meu livro amado
Eu a embalsamei, eternizei
Com carinho aquele
Simples botãozinho
Quem dera pudesse eu
Ter feito o mesmo com sua paixão
Com aquele todo seu carinho,
Mas restou-me apenas uma flor
Embalsamada daquele meu amor
Que nada durou e logo acabou.
