O REGRESSO INESPERADO
Eu vou contar-vos
A história de um navio,
Que na Índia foi construido
Com especiais cuidados.
Seu nome era Fernando II e gloria,
Durante mais de cem anos
Transportou a majestosa especiaria,
Atacou corsários e outros inimigos,
E acabou incendiado
Em frente do esplendor dourado,
Da velha e citadina Lisboa.
Masagora prepara-se
Para a vida regressar,
E as tágides águas abraçar,
Com o espanto de outros tempos
Que o passado ousa relembrar,
Após longos anos de repouso.
