CARTA A UMA DAMA

CARTA A UMA DAMA

Gentil dama,
Que moras longe
Escutai com atenção,
O que diz meu coração
Encoberto em chama.

Gentil dama,
Ouvi estas palavras
Caras e delicadas,
Que me saem da alma
E demonstrativas,
Do amor que sinto por si.

Gentil dama,
Dizei-me algo,
Que me dei-a esperança,
Ou dei-me uma prenda
Que guarde comigo,
Junto da almofada.
