O filho de um tempo parado
Sem ter na mão um arado,

Queria o céu,
Fugi da terra,
Fiquei entre caminhos.

Ando órfão de paisagem,
Um pássaro mortificado,
De penas pretas, cansado.

Queria o pão,
Fugi do trigo,
Cheguei a uma seara agreste.

Sou uma planície vazia,
Preciso que me semeies,
Que me digas como irei.
Como me chamarás?
Queria o cimento
Fugi do barro,
Fiquei um molde inacabado.
Eu sim-Eu!
Se um dia regressar,
Como me chamarás Alentejo?
Filho?
