Romance

Tão feio o outro lugar.
Tão penoso o andar
daquele que já quis voar ...

Agora, não apague a vela.
Nem tire a rosa da lapela,
talvez haja Lua na janela
e a machadiana flor amarela
(porque é preciso reler a vida*).

Vivamos outro romance,
pois a vida é só um relance
e nem sempre ao nosso alcance.
