PEDESTAL
Acima da morte e da vida,
Foi onde eu te coloquei,
Fantasia cresceu na cabeça,
Quase que não acordei.
Passei boa parte do tempo,
Existência onde me anulei,
Querendo sempre agradar,
A pessoa que idolatrei.
Resposta eu estou procurando,
Pras verdades que ignorei,
Pensando em fazer o bem,
No buraco eu me enterrei.
Olhei então o passado,
Quando te conheci,
Arrepio de vento gelado,
Soprando pra longe de ti.
Arrependo de ter errado,
Momentos que não vivi,
Fiquei decepcionado,
E do pedestal te desci.

A desilusão espelhada nas letras da tua poesia, Nilton...
Os pedestais fizeram-se para os santos, para q nos sintamos abaixo dos céus e aprendamos a ajoelhar, para nos sentirmos pequeninos...
Eu... Detesto pedestais, acho q o homem, tal como os anjos, pode e deve voar!
O amor não se vive desnivelado, vive-se sempre, lado a lado...
