Sou ateu, graças a Deus!

Esta frase parece não ter sentido, mas penso ser a mesma correta.

"O ateu, entendo, não descrê em Deus. Pelo contrário. Ele acredita na realidade totalmente outra da divindade suprema, e não em relatos representativos."

Ah, creio que ateu realmente não crê em Deus, e que quem abusa de relatos representativos é quem simplesmente não tem fé.
O que pode não ser o caso do ateu...
