Doce de Ananás - Açores
Descasca-se o ananás e parte-se às rodelas e depois em bocados pequenos. Pesa-se o ananás e reserva-se igual peso de açúcar.
Num tacho, leva-se o ananás ao lume com um pouco de água a ferver durante cerca de 15 minutos. Findo este tempo, deita-se o açúcar e vai-se mexendo sempre, mantendo o lume brando, até fazer estrada. Deixa-se arrefecer e guarda-se o doce em pequenos frascos.
