Arroz Amarillo
Ingredientes:
1/3 xícara de arroz jasmine tailandês ou qualquer outra
variedade de grão longo
1 xícara de açúcar
6 xícaras de leite integral
3 gemas de ovos grandes
2 paus de canela
4 folhas frescas de laranja ou 1 colher de chá de essência de laranja
1 laranja descascada e cortada em fatias para decorar
Modo de Preparo:
Bata o arroz no liquidificador e moa bem fininho. Misture o arroz moído com o leite, açúcar e as gemas numa panela grande. Misture bem com um batedor de ovos. Adicione os paus de canela e as folhas de laranja e cozinhe em fogo baixo, mexendo sempre com um batedor por 25 a 30 minutos, para prevenir que o arroz grude. Retire a canela e as folhas de laranja. Coloque numa vasilha ou em taças individuais e deixe esfrirar. Polvilhe com canela em pó e decore com as fatias de laranja.
