O dia me pinga
Os raios e ginga.
O dia me ama
Como o amor de Donana.
O dia me quer
Como o pé e o chulé.
O dia me cheira
E me põe na lixeira.
O dia me aperta
E mantém a mente aberta.
O dia me escreve
Uma carta
E se despede.

Com seu brilho, é parceira
Com seu beijo, namoradeira
Com seu jeito, enfermeira
Que me cura... brincadeira!
Como uma origem
A noite e sua virgem
Como uma misericórdia
A noite e sua discórdia
Como um convite
A noite e a elite
Como só agora
A noite e sua senhora.
