Estava pronta para te amar
Larguei a camisola de seda na cama
Sei bem que muito me ama
Fui à janela para olhar o mar

As ondas batiam fremente na encosta
O vento soprava uma nuvem tosca
Estava pronta para te amar
Virei-me para ti e o ouvi a cantar

Senti vontade de correr e te acariciar
Não consegui, teu olhar me desejou
Correndo para mim me abraçou
Neste momento esquecemos nossa cama
Estava pronta para te amar
