MEDUSA

Tinha eu um dia o medo


De morrer.


Por quaisquer mãos.


Mas não pelos olhos


Que transformar-me-iam


Em peça preciosa.


Górgona, mulher forte


E impossível, não existe,


E ainda esta para nascer


O homem que me


Conquistará com um olhar.


Oh! Medusa de beleza horrenda


Não serei eu a ser mais uma obra


De arte sua.


Mas um dia ei de nascer semi-Deus


Para sua cabeça arrancar, não de inveja


Mas de tranças invejáveis.
