PRECE DE GRATIDÃO

Senhor, eu lhe agradeço
Pela vida, saúde e a paz
Pelo amor, perdão e forças
Pela doutrina eficaz.

Quero depor-me aos teus pés, ó Mestre
Meditando em Sua cruz
Tentando compreender o amor
A nós demonstrado por Jesus.

Lembro-me ainda o dia feliz
Que algum tempo atrás me concedeu
Onde demonstraste amor para comigo
Meus pecados todos sepultou e os esqueceu.

Hoje Senhor, de joelhos
Venho lhe agradecer
Pela esperança de vida eterna
Quando prestes a perecer.

Me deste amor, me consolaste
Renovaste meu viver
E sobre tudo colocaste
Vida nova em meu ser.

E, por tudo o que me tens feito
Esta é a minha gratidão
E... Senhor, não me abandone nunca
- Habita hoje em meu coração.
