Caminaba solo
Sin admirar la belleza de las flores
Sin observar el colorido de las mariposas
Sin escuchar el sonido del romper de las olas
Solo... con mi sombra

El amor para mí se había alejado
Los días transcurrían, sin anhelos
Sin esperas ni sobresaltos
La luna seguía en su cita con la noche
El viento frio y húmedo... pasaban


El poeta metido en su prosa
De tristezas y desamores
Solo... con el beso de la brisa
Y por cobija, la oscuridad

Y llegaste cual estrella brillante
A alumbrar mí camino
Dando brillo a mis ojos
Y esperanza a mi destino
Tomaste mi mano
Y sin más preámbulos
Lograste mi sonrisa

Me enseñaste a admirar las flores
A caminar sin prisa
Ahora está el poeta metido en su prosa

De ilusiones y esperanzas
