Você que tem medo de envelhecer
De perder o seu lugar na sociedade
Não busque para você o isolamento
Encare com naturalidade esta realidade

Aproveite a sua experiência acumulada
Promova um encontro de poetas no clube
Com certeza vai agradar a rapaziada
Filme este evento e publique YouTube

Vou falar da minha forma de encarar isso
Declamo meus versos na Rádio e na Televisão
A minha agenda está repleta de compromisso
Vivo cercado de amigos e mantenho a ilusão

Recentemente fui a um baile da 3ª idade
Presenciei casais alegres e dançando muito
Ao som da música transbordavam felicidade
Envelhecer feliz este é o grande intuito

Muitos jovens não tiveram esta oportunidade
Por motivos diversos encontraram a morte
Deixaram o nosso convívio na tenra idade
Portanto envelhecer é uma grande sorte

O ser humano tem o costume de reclamar
Da chuva, do sol e até dos anos seus
Jovem ou idoso o importante é a vida amar
Olhar para o céu e agradecer à Deus!
