Nesse deserto em que estive
Tão seco e incessante,
hoje agradeço por beber um pouco
de amor
E conhecer toda essa paixão
Que faz virar-me de emoção
Mas que também me deixa calmo
Porque sei, e estive lá!
A observar ao pé do mundo gente,
tão simples e descente
Que prazer dormir sem dor!
Na imensa lagoa da vida
Que escorreu num córrego veloz
Que preserva a mina que mata a sede.
