World of Exaggeration

From the sky a blush sun
The rays plant a kiss
on my lips,
from the corners of my mouth
a smile cracks,

The sky’s crystal blue colors
seep through the same rays
to color the raindrops,
They splatter like paint
to draw graffiti on the sand

From out of no where a dirty cloud
appears like a lad that had played
in rain puddles
I wish I had wings to fly up there
and scrub it down,

These micro happenings occur
and I exaggerate for other eyes to wear
a poets shoes and walk in the world of poetry,
much like those who speak exaggerated tales
to bring excitement to other minds.
